Donate

Be there with volunteers and survivors through a tax-deductible donation.

For a typical local crisis program, a donation of . . .

  • $91 helps one survivor begin rebuilding a healthy fulfilling life.
  • $42 per month provides crisis services to an area of over 5,000 people.
  • $88 per month sponsors a dedicated crisis volunteer.

We offer several convenient ways to donate. With any of them, you can designate a specific local program and/or remember a loved one in the memo or designation field. To donate with your credit/debit card, just click the GiveDirect button below.

We use a nonprofit service called GiveDirect to process credit card donations. Although your card statement will show “GiveDirect” as the payee, our partner agency, U.S. Crisis Care receives 100% of your donation (or 97.5% if using American Express).

To make a single contribution by paper check, mail your donation to:

U.S. Crisis Care
Attn: Los Angeles CRT
P.O. Box 38631
Sacramento CA 95838

To make regular automatic contributions from your checking account, you can set that up through your own bank’s free online billpay system. If you need additional assistance, contact the CRT administration staff for more information.

Many companies match charitable contributions, so be sure to ask your employer.

Contribute

Every day in Los Angeles, the Mayor’s Crisis Response Team is asked to support survivors of traumatic incidents across the city. Annually, the CRT will distribute nearly a pallet of bottled water, seven reams of printed resources, and travel over 3,000 miles. All of these assets are provided by the volunteers who make up the Crisis Response Team and in-kind donations from local businesses and retailers.

Companies that have provided in-kind deliverables and services to the CRT:

Support

In addition to small, individual donations, and in-kind contributions made by like-minded Angelenos, the CRT relies on grants and funding from our corporate supporters. These businesses have allotted funds that allow the the Crisis Response Team to maintain a small administrative staff, supply uniforms and advanced training for our volunteers, and develop administrative tools to manage the team's deployments. On behalf of the thousands of survivors served over the years, the CRT would like to share thanks with our underwriters:
